Whispers caress my mind,
The silver flows from out the sea,
That cares not of my time,
The ceiling glows concealed hues,
Of reds purples and of blues,
The wash, oh it calls for me,
To bring for me some distant news,
It speaks to me of some realtity,
Never had i lain'd upon the sand,
The soft blow gently urges,
Ne'er will i foget this land,
Where one man tans to golden,
One woman perfected in shape,
And Gentle the sea flows toward us,
To brush close up against our nape,
Where soft the grains massage our bodies,
Early is the setting here,
The temperature knows only clement,
Never the storm grows near,
Yet i lay upon this sanded beach,
Upon a surface of gleaming bronze,
To watch the fell birds only float,
In salute to us, the loving ones
This bronze shines and glimmers,
Cheaper is the gold,
Yet in this tempered fantasy,
Bronze is the gold that i behold,
The sea it merges far aloft,
Somewhere to the distance,
As the waves are gently lapping,
Purpose for my existance,
Ne'er once more my eyes will open,
Ne'er once again i see,
What ardent beauty falls before
The place i wish you share with me,
And as my vision softly fades,
And last i close my hand,
I hear your voice caress the tide,
For i held you as my promised land. [comments] => 1 [counter] => 157 [topic] => 73 [informant] => 5MinutePoet [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => abstract )

If words can create a picture vividly in your mind then the words have been well chosen,
This is the case here.I read it and could imagine myself there.

Good work

Steve
