[bodytext] => You can close your eyes to what is real… pretending that you do not see. You can numb your feelings … make believe that there’s nothing there. You’re bound to live a lie. You’re running with wolves, free and wild… wearing your mask, to hide what’s inside. You can run from love, close the doors on your heart, but you cannot hide... from the truth that lives inside. When you resist your destiny … it can be a long drawn road, forever knowing … that there’s a part of you, you’ve left behind. Running wouldn’t stop the pain, or stop the currents of your heart …. forever drawing me in. My love shines on you forever, even when we’re apart. Maybe someday… somehow, there’ll be a place for us.

Very easily relatable, many people, myself included will have been through this.
I like the idea that this poem is like one continuous train of thought, so passionate and all-encompassing that it has flowed out of your mind onto the page.

Lovely write,

Dom
