Handful of yellow...

I had them all in my hand
a multitude of madness
Light yellow
like so many suns
blinding my eyes
Gazing at them
knowing their power
their absolute

All of these
and never again
feel any pain
Never
Ever
All of these
and never again
would I think
and wonder...

What went wrong?
What happens
to some of us?

Handful of yellow
and every thought
would be gone
No more me
No more you
No more pain
Handful of yellow...

I look at you
I cry
I hold you
You feel so light
Your wrath so heavy
Handful of yellow...

Saved for another day.

Its scary isn't what something so small can do. Very glad you put them down.
This was such a human poem, filled with the here and now, weakness and worries and the wonderful bravery of pulling through.
This was emotional and intense, but I enjoyed reading it.

Take care,
Dom

Girl, You better not!
Think of your kids.
Holler any time, my dear, dear friend.
Great writing as always but very sad-n-heart wrenching.
luv, huggs, prayer, peace, joy,
emy

Sweet sis, I applaud your bravery, not only in finding strength
to continue on with life .. but to pen this very real, very personal
write. You have so much more in you and there are so many
who would suffer in your absence, ( a thought I'm sure
helped you in many ways).

This was, as others said, so very human. I feel your pain, as
if it were my very own. I have known a time or two when I wanted
to just fall asleep, never to awaken, but I'm always glad of the
waiting sun ... time has a way of passing on the pain and bringing
on the joy. And it will ... the sun is there, behind the clouds.

Yours will shine again. : )

Always here for you ... whenever. Not much for giving out
advice, but I'm a damn good listener!!

~MG
