Each puzzle piece has it's place
You can watch the world survive
And keep your solemn face
You can give into the pity
And let it drown your faith
Or you can live with laughter
And let the humor erase the hate...

Bad Days Gone By

When all the pity beggers
Have trampled all your grace
When all that once was laughter
Has infected you with hate
When everything you've looked up to
Has been replaced with tears
And when simple things you used to do
Turn into chores of grief

Excellent write....

I love how you through such vivid details take the reader down to the level of despair and then show them the hope, the light and the way to leave the despair behind.
