May 15, 1984 - March 2, 2001,
"Heavens sixteen year old Angel"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ [bodytext] => Sweet sixteen, of youthful hue,
the years, I try to turn,
Ailie, its like a permanent hole,
in which my heart still yearns,
Frozen walkways, begin this path,
in which I struggle sooo ..... with pain,
"I ache for her" .... she whispered out,
and I hear her call your name,
Losing you, of golden smiles,
tressled locks of blonde,
that smile that you brought within,
how are "we" to carry on,
The light dimmed out the day you died,
without you it seems grey,
sweet, sweet one, of sixteen years,
we love you so today,
Reminising back on pictures,
and tiny written notes,
I'm lost within the pain I feel,
and the tears that seem to float,
"New days soon will find me .... peace",
I hear so many say,
but its so much to bear this loss,
when this angel flew away,
I keep you sooo ..... deep within,
the pocket of my heart .... now bare,
who was that girl that changed our life,
and flutters with wings up there,
The spirit winds, I try to hear,
where I laid your soul to rest,
"I ache for her" ... I hear her whisper,
of youthful hue, then death!
Oh Val .. I don't know how you have survived so much heartache - I admire your strength .... this poem, although very sad, is also haunting and lovely with the impression of her as an angel. A beautiful write ... Jan
Someday precious heart, you shall joyfully reunite with your sweet angel, where the Lord will touch your face and wipe away all tears from your eyes! The celebration will be wondrous! Find joy in the knowledge that the seperation is only a temporary thing. This is a great tribute to your little lamb.
Love,
Rob
Val, I can stop crying here! This really made me so heartbroken ! You will again see her in all her glory & you will never be apart again!
She is a true angel looking down at you everyday! Blessed are the ones that suffer!
So much of your life has been like this but I know this you have regained strength from all the troubles life passed your way!
God Bless my friend .Christina
Can you hear my gentle whisperings
Breathing comfort to your soul
Do you feel my heart
And the love we treasure so
I am always with you
Tho for now out of sight
But when tomorrow dawns
I'll be there in the light
And when you feel the rays
Warm you thru and thru
Tis just my way mom
Of touching you
I beg your forgiveness if this is intruding. But I sometimes say in poetry what I cannot write.
Your poem is a wonderful tribute and I pray God eases your pain.-Russ
Time simply dulls the pain but the ache remains. The greater the ache the more we realize the beauty of what we lost and how that beauty touched our lives.
Nice write.
Oh Valerie, I am so sorry for your loss. I can't find the words to explain how I feel. God will return your daughter to you again. May HE keep you in HIS prayers and love you unconditionally. God bless you for being brave to write this sad but beautiful tribute to your daughter. *S* cynthia
Thank you, Val, for sharing this loving tribute to your daughter. My love to you and I hope the love from your YPDC friends gives you strength. I've been told that losing a child is the most painful grief to bear. I've been fortunate that my children are still alive, but I know how it feels to be helpless as they face possible death. Love, Friend Bizzy Gloria
No greater love and then no greater loss.
How beautiful your words, how strong your heart for sharing. May these words reach out and comfort those who walk in the pain of your life as well. Blessing to you always for the strength you share here.
