And you had to go.

When I came back
I had no idea
That we'd missed each other...

Just by a week.

"There comes a time,"
They told me once,
"When it's time to go."

And I was alone.

I lived and grieved. Alone.

While I wandered,
I stopped at a place to rest.

Before I left, I saw a note
Written on the wall just outside

That said,
"The last half of a journey is leaving."

Then I knew
You had always been ready. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 406 [topic] => 13 [informant] => TheSpiritx [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 4 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

I really liked this, its simple and to the point.
The title really drew me in, it is a lovely line.
