was but a canvas

stained with

misery,

within a loft of lonliness

you discovered

me.

Some

colors from a rainbow

on me you did impart,

a blend of love and passion

from the pallet of your

heart.

Once my life

was but a book of pages torn and faded,

you took your love and wrote in it

so beautiful you made

it.

Alone

i was a empty line

with nothing to behold,

together we became

the greatest story ever

told.

Once

my life was but a song

that no one cared to sing,

a melody of perfect key that

didn't mean a

thing.

For what good is a painting?

of a picture never seen,

or words for all the world to read

yet not know what they

mean.

A

song that sung in perfect tune

yet falls upon deaf ears,

a

clown who wears a happy face

to hide his lonely

tears.

Yes once my life was but a dream

i thought could not come true,

you came along

and proved me wrong

for now my life is

you.

Ben
