Array ( [sid] => 134744 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Impulse [time] => 2007-05-27 18:52:05 [hometext] => I wrote this during a very difficult time in my life. My life was out of control. Nothing seemed to be going right. I didn't seem to have any time for myself and it was consuming me. This is how I felt at the time. [bodytext] => I want to flirt
I want to fight
I want to run naked
Into the night

I want to torture
I want to maim
Friends and foes
Are one and the same

I want them all
To suffer the pain
They put me through
From day to day

Though I know
It's not their fault
But my own quirks
That set me off

I have these impulses
Just the same
It takes all I have
To keep them at bay

Sometimes I want
To kill them all
Then I would not be
At their beckoned call

Sometimes I think
To kill myself
And take that leap
Straight into hell

But someone else
Would have to fall
Into my place
As their lap dog

And so I sit
I stay and heel
Obey the masters
And get the meal [comments] => 3 [counter] => 210 [topic] => 21 [informant] => SerenePsycho [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 1 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Lifepoems )

dang, I feel such emotional rage and confusion within this write.

I say tell em to go the hell and be the person you need to be. Being angry and wanting revenge doesnt do the trick nor does self harm. FInd the magic within yourself and leap tall bounds. Being angry makes us human staying angry makes us sick, believe me I know.....
