[bodytext] => The Man with the black hat stands just outside city limits. Slowly, the peaceful city turns. Darkness rushes in, pushing out light. Rain drowns rats and sweeps away buildings. Light melts steel like ants under a magnifying glass. The chaotic air pulls gasps out of peoples’ mouths, Forming a forced plea of mercy, Only to have it go unheard to non-existing ears. Their pride vanishing with their homes. Blame was instantly placed on the black-hatted character, Inadequate montages formed. Common scapegoats and suspicion unite the broken tribe. Forgiveness only comes after revenge. Black sheep bleach their coats with approving words, Outcasts will be replaced because they can be, By shared hate. The Man with the black hat now stands alone, A shielded distance held together by assumption. The dirt from the city leaks through distant sewers, And dissipates into the vast ocean, Becoming mere drops when compared to the body of water, Flooding the toxins, And rendering them insignificant. Poison-cleared streets grid the vacant ground, Standing alone, Allowing for fresh new awakenings. Blessings that go unnoticed, Hatred and bitterness blinds. A man wearing a black cap approaches a newly formed city, Rejection awaits him at the border, Through no fault of his own. Fear and mistrust added to his aura without his knowing, Plagued rejection , A life chosen by others, Through a distorted conception of reality.
