The dawn
Will break and break
Again as the day leads
Towards the end
I sit amidst
What wasn’t said
And drown the left
With the right in check
Two, with a light
That shines only when
I have my eyes closed
Blinds half drawn
The rising of the setting
With the shade of night
Close at hand
And a candle, near my bed
A sun, and a second
Hand in hand
Stroll neatly towards
The bleak inheritance
Of emptiness and
Half-dried tears
The Two Suns Set
On a hopeless world

Of emptiness and half dried teats
That line is so solid I felt this write right to the very core.
