Array ( [sid] => 134380 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Forgotten [time] => 2007-05-15 15:07:43 [hometext] => A poem about infidelity and how it can affect a relationship. I read yesterday that 1 out of every 3 people are unfaithful to their spouse. I found that a truly sad thing. [bodytext] =>
How could you hurt another
this way?
How could you do
this deed?
When you tell someone
how much you love them,
How could you have
shared your seed?
Where was your lover in your mind?
Somewhere locked far behind?
Forgotten
Your children; forgotten
All were simply...
Forgotten

You were someone else
cruel and calculating.
Smile so perfectly,
always melting with your eyes.
Beautiful face
merely a disguise.
Some torture lies beneath,
something that ached to come out.
Horrid choices you made
Whilst family were.....
forgotten
What's that all about?

Sis,

this write touches the very soul and wounded heart. It is a hard thing to understand . You wrote this with a tenderness and undertones of pain that I clearly feel.

hugs her sis

I have to agree with your author's note.. I always think about this and how others can just do that to someone.. This reminded me of what my ex boyfriend had did to me.. This was a very powerful poem and held alot of truth in it.. Great job..

Take care
Christina
