Eroding my soul
It's becoming harder to hide
Eating me alive
And everyday it gets harder to survive
Harder to breathe
And the pain I carry in my heart
Is something you can't even believe
It brings me to my knees
And my broken heart has now become my fatal disease
I awaken everyday just to fade away
And every night I lay myself to sleep
Letting the tears slowly creep
Salted memories stream my face
Revolving images of our last embrace
So much for your promises
They died the day you let me go
Caught up in a web of lies
But it was just too late to know
I thought it was you
Who would stand by my side
I thought it was you
Who would do me no wrong
Make me belong
I thought it was you who would die for love
But now I see the reality
Loving you was my own fatality
And you will never understand
That I been holding on with broken hands
Now I must let go. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 168 [topic] => 22 [informant] => bleedthelove [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 20 [ratings] => 4 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LostLove )

Now I must let go. You know first i was gonna highlight the uper part then the middle then it hit me as i read the last verse i would have to highlight the whole poem but this line hit me the hardest. this is a most riveting poem so touching so sad and so pwerful. truly a poetic
eye opener. i could almost see your pain on the page. Beautifuly done.

Ben

Such honesty of your broken heart within this write. I am sorry for the pain but you did do a wonderful job with the write and expression.
