Dancing down the street no place to go.
Crazy lady looks they seem to throw.
We all can’t stay so sane.
I really can’t refrain.
This is what I’m doing for today.

Purple shorts and lime green runny shoes.
Not the latest fashion in the news.
None of it fits right.
My hair is out of sight.
This is what I’m doing for today.

Blushed up cheeks, misplaced lips of red.
Looks like I’ve been thrown out of my bed.
I may look rather dumb.
As I blow my bubblegum.
This is what I’m doing for today.

When bored and self consumed don’t stay at home.
There is always sidewalk space for us to roam.
We can dress and walk a mile.
Make all those people smile.
Do you want to come with me another day?

I like it.
Yut, I do.
And you know...with my being so negative...well, if i like it, it must be good.
On the other hand I judge people by the names they have...like...well, needle dancing. What would be appropriate to call that? A screen name? Yes, I suppose so.

I judge people by their screen names.
God, I'm a trite bastard aren't I. ^_^

anyway, it is good. Made me smile.
always, abraham

LOL, I found this witty and cute and you painted a wonderful uplifting picture here.
The answer is yes I will come walking with you!

The other day I did just toss myself out of bed and went for a walk with leshay. YOu would have to know the neighborhood I live in to fully understand....

We will put it this way these people go and buy new clothes to just go walking in, no lie.
Instead of a workout or relaxing walk it looks like a damn fashion runway up and down the streets here and of course they rarely will even speak to me. They have fresh makecup on, hair all foo foo, their dogs even have a foo foo all the time....

Not to say Leshay and I look like bums but a tee shirt pair of shorts and my tennies are good for the hot walk , oh cant forget the ciggy Im smoking along the way ROFLMAO.

I think instead of the red lipstick today I will put on my black lipstick and see what kind of rise I get out of these woman ROFLMAO!!

I actually passed two woman yesterday who were bragging about how much they spent on their set of walking clothes they were wearing GAG ME!!!!!!!

Loved the poem I did I did.

*hugs you tight* You are my kind of sister. *smiles*. This was so fantastically uplifting. I echo your sentiments, I dress for comfort (folks say I'm stuck in an earlier decade) LMAO oh well. This was really just a great little piece...sort of like "flipping off" society and their petty crap.
Peace,
Laura (who would love to go for a stroll with you)
