Two lips

upon one coffee cup

our morning game we play,

cream and surgar with a kiss

were now each other's

day.

Two sleepy heads

that share one pillow dreaming

cheek to cheek,

two heart's entwine as though a willow

such tale's of love they

speak.

You are my sweet simplicity

the nector

in love's flower,

a moment's love i'd share with thee

before another's

hour.

I call you

sweet simplicity

you are my gentle fawn

as pretty as a twilight rainbow

smilling 'midst the

dawn.

You who took me

by the heart as gentle

as could

be,

unto

my soul your love impart

thy sweet

simplicity.

I can only wish that a loving heart would one day write a piece like this for me.
It is filled with love and the passion that I interpret as complete as one could be.
A fantastic piece my friend.

this is my new favorite of your exquisite love poems, i love the old world element, i would say perhaps to another writer, 'where-ever your inspiration comes from keep feeding that muse' but, to you ben, i say, give her a hug from me, you make people want to run wild and pick daisys

love n' hugs nessa

The inherent peace of this kind of simplicity is something I desperately want for myself & have at times experienced...still questing for my quiet mind, though...

"And be a simple kind of man
Oh, be something you love and understand"~Lynyrd Skynyrd
