The rain it falls down relentlessly
I imagine the sky to be crying
So many tears building up
that when she comes....she pours

Everything around me is such
a vivid shade of green
Soaking what the rains bring
The ground is already full and begins to overflow

Humidity high, vapor in the air
Smoky trails emit from my mouth
My nostrils breathing in the cool air
Moisture absorbed into every pore

Scents of rain and dirt
of the sweetest parfum I know
Splashed with fragrance of green
Surreal this air, this feel, as I sit

It was like this for me last night, and I opened my bedroom window and watched the rain for ages. I love the rain, and your poem expresses this joy at nature wonderfully.
Lovely write,

Dom

Sis, this has a wonderful, cleansing feel to it.
I love the rain .. the smell, sight and sound of it!
There is nothing to compare to the gentle melody of
a fresh falling rain. You've done justice to this beauty
and wonder of nature, hun.

Tremendous!!!
