but then the song ran

a little longer than planned

so bring the beat back

and go with the flow

before I drop out

and take a shower an go

to the safe place

where I love to hide

with my brave face

and the times that you lied

about your boyfriend

and the falling out

of the loose ends

and the funky groove

and in the mean time

Im getting ready to move

but if you listen

you can hear the tear

that will glisten

when it hits the beer

that Im drinking

in the bar where you played

and I was thinking

that what if I stayed

another DJ

might be ready to play
