Perfect azure eyes,
they stare out from the mirror,
from out of the past,
and now only grey stones stare back.

Lips that had once spun rapid and musical words,
have now fallen silent in contemplation,

A face once holding life,
now held by lifes worries

Holding the glass his hands now tremble,
sending ripples through the amber liquid,
in years past they were unquaking like soft stone.

Sitting quietly in a dark room,
the mirror his only company,
and those eyes,
those eyes staring from an almost forgotten past.

Closing his eyes,
life flows in,
a sence of searching,
a feeling of 'lost'.

Then a scent that focuses,
a smile that aligns,
those eyes.

Beautiful eyes offering the world,
and with the words "I love you" tears fall.

Hands raised to catch them,
the soft wetness splashes across the palms,
hands close,
then opens once more in blinding light,
the Angel flys away.

Once again searching,
then music floods in,
lights flashing,
life moving to a beat.

Three sets of beautiful eyes,
staring from the crowd,
each making him feel like god,
each parting their lips, one after the other.

I love you
I love you
I love you

and with each time the angels illuminate and fly away.

The sence of looking,
finding,
it comes quicker,
faster in flashes,
conversations blend and meld,
til only one can be understood out of the speach in tongues.

Do you remember,
all the times we laughed,
the times we cried,
when I broke down and let you inside,
the times I hated and accused you,
maybe the times that I abused you,
all the times we fought,
the souls that we taught,
the distence we have come,
the life you begun,
the fear,
the anger,
the love, loss and lust,
was it worth it?,
the pain?,
the lonelly cold nights?,
do you remember why?,
do you remember me?.

Shadows shifting,
the light intensifies,
until eyes open and silence returns.

A shaking hand reaches for the glass,
his lips in a warm smile.
A tear rolls down his cheek,
it lingers in the stubble.

A deap sigh as the drink spills like crystals,
falling on a thread bare carpet.
Laying back silently with a smile that would linger,
and echo through that room eternal,
never too be disturbed.

A fresh breeze blows through an open window,
and perfect azure gem like eyes,
the watch from within the mirror,
his lips mouthing,
'Yes'.
