You say you love me so
whilst chipping at my soul
You lie over and over again
Do you even know the truth?
You act as if you don't remember
You're only trying to block your own pain
These constant "I don't know" answers
Pierce me like...
cold rain

Sweetie .. I see this picture and a flood of emotion drives
right through me-- as did your words. Sis, this is powerfully
painful. Cold rain is something I wish we never had to
feel. You did justice to the emotion and the sentiments
attached to it. Maybe a little too much --

PM away, sis. *hugs you*

~MG

The cold rain, I wish it didn't need to fall upon you. I can feel the hurt...... The pic captured things to a tee..... May the sun come to warm your days and your soul. I will be calling you!

Laura,

I love longer more in depth work. I like to lose myself it something that takes time to get to the conclusion. Not to mention the thoughts that are conveyed with many stanzas. Though to me the power of a poet is more typically shown in making something short be so tremendous. This dear poet you have done! This is so powerful for so little said. It works wonders in it's brief measure. Simply put this is a reflection of your poetic power! A wonderful work!

BRAVO!
