When undotted i's stumble

Contributed by dwgpoet on Friday, 4th May 2007 @ 04:19:13 PM in AEST
Topic: spiritual

When Woe to the man;
“Who trips up these little ones;”
with a long parade of eulogizers:
colorless, miles underground;
Who say “the soul lives somewhere.”

Whose dreams pass sons through the fire;
Where “‘no light will ever shine’”
hope on their earth quandary,
their dead-end alley: “tested
in War?” “Why were humans here?”

Whose charmers see a Triad
image in aborted eyes;
“where singers are never heard;”
only embryos’ womb cries;
“night cobra, creation Myth;”

Whose data transfer online
imbues a black holes collapse;
where gravitational force
induce technophobia;
“where no craftsman is there found;”

Whose totem poles transform sports;
incarnating millionaires;
where steroids masked FDA?;
where apocalyptic cries
“unconscious is beat the snitch!;”

Where no millstone is there heard;
where wives cheat alimony;
“and no bride is ever heard
in you again; because your ...
for by your ... all were misled.”

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
