blindsided by all the corruption in the world
how did he find me
I know I wasn't lurking around the project streets
sympathetic because of your rough childhood
I'm sorry you went without food or electric
how long can you blame your upbringing for things being hectic
O.K. you say you had to quit school to make money
that ***** is funny because on what good job wants a highschool dropout but street pharmacy
I laughed with you, I cried with you, I even went to all the rehabs with you
but in the end I realized that my habbit is you
I was naive and brought up on the right side of the track
but maybe if I hadn't I would know all the lies were just that
Baby I'll quit I promise, Help me Help me
here we go again, me feeling sorry for your shattered childhood dreams
are you not a man now? why dwell on the past
Is it just an excuse that all drug users have
Is it always supposed to be about you what about me
A highschool graduate, member of the National Honor's Society
on my way a senior in college with a degree in Chemistry
at least that was what it supposed to be
What happened to me
I see my life flash before my eyes and finally a glimpse of reality
In the midst of trying to save you I lost myself
I forgot just how much my life was worth
six years and counting, three kids later and still no breakthrough
I think it is time for me to realize that I can not save you
you refuse to trust him but continue to depend on us
how baby when you'll take our last dollar for that stuff
don't the high last about 10-15 minutes
then what? the devil is laughing at me YOU are too much in it
God this battle is yours so why do I keep trying to fight it
my kids need a daddy why can't you see it
Is this a test?
Well God is it?
What is it you want me to see
HE is my EVERYTHING without him there is no me....My habbit so to speak

Lord I guess that's why the devil keeps whipping me
