Thy smile defeats the glory of moonshine,

And spreads the wondrous lustre of lightening.

May thy smile be my nourishment in this world!

Thy smile nourishes the creepers of the quarters

And makes them bloom myriads of flowers.

Thou hast made the great sky

a garden of thy sport and

The globes of sun and moon

have become handballs in thy sport.

To thee the sky is a stadium of sport

and in the Sun thy office exists.

Thou hast made this earth

a dining hall of various foods!

Thou art the bestower of wisdom

and the granter of beatitude,

Thy accomplishments and valor

are incomparable.

In terms of truth thou art the great light all pervading,

In terms of philosophy

Thou art the mystic power and cosmic force.

And in meditation of thy form

Thou art a beautiful maiden.

How can we find thee, O supreme light

even larger than the sky?

Where could we find thee,

the most beautiful maiden?

Thou are running show of the world

with a smile controlling all of us?

Thy smile is the real cause

of the creation and the destruction.

The glory of thy smile is the source

Of the splendor of the Sun

And the luster of the moon

and the brilliance of the fire

The glory of thy smile gives vastness

to the sky, gives mighty force to the air,

gives fluidity to the water,

gives density to the Earth,

and it bestows the immortal wealth

to the angels and the heavens.

It is the glory of thy smile made the absolute

that hast no name, form or attributes

to assume the lordship of the universe.

Thou doest create the globes and stars in the sky

and destroy them as per thy will

as the Lord remains a witness to thy actions!

Thou doest build the nests and castles of sand

and then destroy them with a laughter

like a little girl playing in the sands of a beach.

How can my words explain

the substance of thy frolic acts?

How this prayer can extol

such glory of thy beautiful smile!

O Divine mother! O Mother of universe!

May thou grant me the bliss

and glory of thy beautiful smile!

May thou grant me the splendor

and the wisdom of thy supreme self!

Om! Obeisance to the Mother of universe! Om!

We contemplate that adorable glory of the Deity

that is in the earth, the sky, and the heaven.

May the Lord inspire us towards it! Om, Hrim, Om!

Dear venkat ... you always write with such flair and beauty leaving me speechless ... I am not sure if this is about the woman you love or perhaps a religious figure ... nevertheless it is beautifully written ... Jan

Oh! dear friend, your comment is like a shining Trophy that I have won for my efforts to bring out the glory of the Divine Mother who is also the spouse of The Eternal Lord. Truly this poem is divine, and the source of the wisdom is world's most ancient Text " Rig-Veda".. Kindly notice the fact. thanks& respects.. ..venkat
