[bodytext] => Our mother is dying. It is very sad but true.
Do you not hear her crying,
from the pain she goes through.
She deserves more of our attention.
We should treat her like a queen.
It really angers me to mention
all the neglect I have seen.
It's hard for me to believe
that her children does not care.
It's hard for her to breathe.
They keep polluting the air.
We can't stand here and allow
her health to fade very much more.
Our mother needs us now, more than ever before.
We should all respect each other
and put our differences aside.
We can save our mother. Let our hearts be our guide.
So take this advise I'm giving,
for whatever it is worth.
If you want to continue living, here with Mother Earth.

Scanman~
This brought a tear to my eye. All your poems contents are so true and they touch the heart of the reader. I wished more people would listen and take care of Mother Earth for I'm afraid if we go on much longer like we are. Morth Earth and Human Kind will cease to exist.
Well ryhmed, great flow and excellently penned. Well done Scanman. A top notch write~
warm hugs,
dreamer

Scanman, I echo your words, my friend. Quite a bit of my writing is given to me by my Mother Earth. She is one of my greatest inspirations. Damn, I'm honored to live and breathe and soak her beauty in. I wish everyone felt like we did. Thank you so much for sharing this.
Peace and hugs,
Laura
