  • hearts in space traveling timelessly
    unending black pitch night envelopes
rather a marriage of the minds that
they touch softly, knowing in this universe,
    it is only they two...

    together in full passionate embrace
yet; they are unable to touch in a tangible
way, they are the heart of hearts, the soul
of souls, the mind of minds, alas this is all
    that is left of them...

dare they try to travel ever alone again?
    there is no future without one the other;
it would be eternal darkness to go each
their own way, indeed, for once love is
    found, it must be cherished...

ahh, but here came, when they only blinked,
the forces of the universe which made them
part, it was not sad at first, for they were two
together and happy to be so, for sooo long
    then at once alone...

hearts in space cascading timelessly, now
separate and panicky; curl up and cease to
exist or continue on? what choice is to be had,
until once more a safe place within themselves
    is attained, that happy balance...

alas, ever looking for each the other.

Aww, you're on a roll with the writing, aren't you Mom? I'm glad though. I really missed your poetry.

Anyway it's a beautiful write. I'd say more, but I'm procrastinating on that paper so that I could check your poetry. :D

    Love,
    Mars

Hi Nessa .. I know that you posted this in the "Love or Romantic" category
but I can't help but feel a certain melancholy awash within your words.

    Things like ..

for sooo long then at once alone...,
    now separate and panicky; and
alas, ever looking for each the other

wow ... there is so much in this. A beautiful mix of emotions, methinks.

A wonderful myriad of passion to ponder.

    ~Breezy

The essence of love written so beautifully and complete. The loss...yes a constant search to be that complete once again. Excellent piece.

Every heart should have a home...Neither time nor space can separate two hearts that have become one. I like the format you used to express yourself.
