The air in this room so thick
with mournful exhales
Eyes of blue with tears
set perched like diamonds
on the edge.
Waiting to tumble....
and take their fall

Mistakes made and
now both pay
for things in which neither
can understand
Lost slightly
in the haze of moments
Where were we....
in some far off land?

Top write, Laura. Poignant, anguished, with the perfect ending - were we that distant not to notice, not to realize. A state of affairs keen and heartfelt in itself, yet abstract and indeterminate enough to apply to many tragedies.

Laura the emotion in this is overpowering, but the
beautiful and flawless way you put it into words is
completely stunning!

Write, dear poet. Emotion and passion such as yours
needs a channel. And your creative side is reaping
the benefits of your enormous heart.

Truly amazing.

~Breezy

Absolutely overflowing with emotion, Breezy is right - you have channelled your life experiences into beautiful, heartfelt poems.
The description in this is exquisite, and it is wonderful because it can be applied to more than one situation.

Take care,
Dom

Oh sweetie... I'm so proud of you, you know?

You are handling and dealing with this so much better than I ever could. You are stronger than you know, hun, and it shows in your writing, it really does.

This is a painful write, hun... the uncertainty is the worst, I think... but I know you can get through it.

Be strong, k?

Here for you, as always.

Lots of love,
Phyllis xxx
