leaving family and freinds only to cry.
I guess suicide was his way to die,
and nobody knows exactly why.
Maybe he felt it was time to fly,
with beutifull angels in the sky.

Today my buddy left this life.
Never fell in love, never had a wife.
He was only 22 what a short life,
its to bad that he fell to a knife.

Today my buddy exscaped the pain
of this dying world without a name.
Life will go on but not the same.

Today my buddy stopped the clock.
Never again will it tick or tock.
And this to me is quite a shock,
I'll always remember our little flock
you,me,and the rest of our block.

I guess my buddys gone today.
I cant believe that he left this way
he had so many things left to say
but now his voice will drift away
and all thats left, is for us to pray

Today my buddy is here no more
but I'll remember him forever more
forever more.

If your buddy could read this now... I'm sure he wouldn't of killed himself. I'm sorry for your pain, and I can feel it in this poem.

Wow.... teary eyed here... I guess you know I substituted 'nephew' for buddy the 2nd time I read it.....
Once upon a time, I saw suicide as an easy way out... I no longer see it that way. Thanks for sharing this. I'll be reading more of your work soon...

People say that only the weak would harm themselves, but truthfully it is only to end the pain that they are currently in. At least your "friend" is now out of there misery they were constantly in battle with.
But I'm sorry for your loss of a friend years ago... I really enjoyed this poem ;I actually enjoy a lot of your work... Xo
