Running back and forth on their little leggs.

Scurrrying and searching all around.
To see how many eggs can possibly be found.

Green, yellow, orange and blue.
Oh what is a young child to possibly do.

Awaiting to see what is inside.
Is it a toys or a sweet chocolate surprise.

Filling their baskets to the brim.
While their faces light up with a happy grin.

Finding them in bushes or in a tree.
So many colors as far as the eye can see.

Picking them up one by one.
Having so much joyous easter fun.

Giggling and laughing scurrying around.
See how many egss can be found.

Once they find them and they are done.
This doent end all their joyous fun.

Now to go and open them all.
To find in side candy coins and a ball.

Happy Easter they shout with such glee.
Which now has brought a smile to me.

Another hunt for the easter eggs.
Watching them run about on their tiny little legss. Nice capture of the joy and thrill kids (and adults by proxy) find in the classic easter egg hunt.

Run a spell check before you post, though - multiple errors are a bit distracting.

thanks for your recent comments,

Spike

Arrhh, Loriann, just from reading this I bet your a brilliant mum. This poem was an enjoyment to read, and I think it appeals to a large audience from children, to parents, grandparents black, white, blue ect...(you get the picture). The last two stanza's are soo sweet ,the joys of being a mother huh.
