As I gaze upon these moon lit lilies
My thoughts of the pretty
Within my mind
Only then two wonder why.

As I see them
From a darker region than the moon
Staring unto the ground with such contempt.
I soon begin to realize,
We, as human based existences,
Have the tendency to trample upon the grass around;
We trample upon that which seams to look inferior.
We will see these flowers and bypass them,
But we will stomp our feat into these other plants.

And so, I pick up one of the flowers,
Killing it for my own study,
I notice the smell I gives off.
Not the smell of a beautiful flower,
But of the seed it so wishes to spread;
Like a whore,
It reeks of such a smell.
Also, like such a whore,
It gives off heat, all the way until its death.
Then, it simply lies there soaked and with
The undeniable smell.

It’s nectar
It so wishes
To evoke
To presence of
Only so it may feel,
Powerful.

These are the things people find so beautiful?
Is this why we have so many kids getting off to the power
Of having control over others
By a simple gesture?
Is this why humanity has no more individual thoughts?
They simply think that, that which is beautiful
Must be enjoyed,
In such a manner that all others are neglected,
Torn apart,
And destroyed
Without a second thought.

The flower died in the same manner as these kids,
They both died from spreading a seed
That was uselessly wasted.
They both died by the moon light.
Without remorse,
Without much care,
Without knowing a spirit of love,
Without care of their own life
Enough to stop such things.
I simply find it bad when someone asks
Why one has never had sex,
(Coming from a 16 year old girl)
Only to neglect all sense of the very caring
The people they idolize
Set out to show this world.

The hippies where great people,
Don’t get me wrong,
But they only showed the world one
Manner of EXPRESSING love,
Never how to have it.
The ones that knew this
Would have to have known,
The sun and the moon,
Would turn their backs to this world,
Until someone taught the truth.

Under the moon light I type this,
Not to praise,
Nor despise,
Merely to teach,
The workings of my mind.

Fine mind indeed. Filled with truth and so much insight into the human experience.Yes we have so much truth to learn and so few great teachers to guide us.We seem to learn our truth to late.
I find this an excellent write...but then you had the moon lite on your side.
