[bodytext] => Walking down the street that night Emotions rash, and hard to fight Hard to believe its the same day I have a million things to say And no one to tell them to Thoughts of him, and thoughts of you I can't go back, and I can't go there For the temptation I could not bare The alcohol staring down at me Wanting to set my mind free To shut my brain off, just for a night But I couldn't do it, I had to fight So instead that bleacher is where I went Free of the that pleasant memory filled scent Then the rain came down, drizziling on me Perfect timing, for a cheezy movie But its not a movie, its for real I don't know how you can conceal All these things, deep inside I thought I could, I really tried I couldn't do that, I am weak So I wrote this, ever so meek Take this poem in any way I hope it causes no dismay Its how I write, it's how I feel And I told you a rhyming poem can still appeal.
