Standing straight and tall
Without a guide
I’m sure I’d fall

I’ve come a long way

Without your help

I see myself differently
In a much better light
Without your faith in me
I’d have lost my own fight

I’m a soldier fighting on
And my general was you
Without your lead
I wouldn’t know what to do

A mentor will show you
How to succeed in life
I know with you as my mentor
I’ll reach unimaginable heights

If time separates us
My memories will stay
I’ll remember my teacher
Who showed me the way

Here I am now

awwwww!!!!! thats so sweet!!!! i hope she will like it, thats so good too!! it gives you a warm feeling!! i didnt know she was that good of a teacher, hope you do well on your living treasures!!

i love it! teachers can be really amazing people. and it sounds like you've found one of them...truly beautiful!
