Especially with my bad luck.

always losing at everything I do.
And here it is I finally lost you.

Tried so hard to win your heart.
But I didnt know how I am not that smart.

Maybe I should just give it up.
Especially with my bad luck.

Cannot seem to do anything right.
And I sit alone at home every single night.

watching the t.v. and all the happy loves.
While I sit downhere wishing on all the stars above.

But nothing ever goes my way.
It is like this every single day.

My heart remains empty and broken apart.
And I think it has been like that from the very start.

Maybe I should give up.

I am glad your friend has your support. It sounds like her self esteem has been smashed to smithers...you have written a piece that certainly reflects how she feels. If she believes it's all a matter of luck that can be sad too.I hope she gets out the door more and finds some smiles and happiness. Good work.

I'm so sorry to hear that this is what your friend is going through. With love and support from a good friend like yourself she'll get right back on her feet again. It's good to know that she has a wonderful friend like you to help see her through her troubled times.
