Storm flood town’s streets

Storm quench earth’s thirst
After week of bones in heat.
Stale and dry and sloth,
And still in choke of light.

Storm blaze dark rooms,
Turn lights on in my head,
Give me thoughts then words and lines,
I’ll write those down instead.

My friend it is a wonderful recreation of a mammoth storm in words and lines, the light in your head is burning and glowing bright and clear and we all could feel the blowing "Storm."

FRANCO.

I adore the disturbance of storms .. they are entirely and
passionately alive with emotion.

And you have been successful in trapping the beauty
and awe of one of nature's wildest moods.

Loved reading this one, Dom.

I am seeking shelter during these words as they evoke the power of a storm most effectively.

Love that power...

Well Done

In my esteem, there is little to compare w/ the uncompromised majesty that is the power of Storms...my usually introverted & somewhat meek self, can raise my arms upward & know what it is to be a Goddess...I have a tremendous affinity for the element of water & I am no stranger to drumming circles, so I was absolutely there w/ this very1st line...

"Storm beat drum deep,"~you

Truly a strong poem i like the tittle and i'm from the north eastern part of the united state's called New England grew up by the sea, so this peice of writting is definately my cup of tea, no pun intended lol. i love storms and rain and songs or poetry or paintings depicting anything that even resembles water. Great write, your a true artist who simply let's his brush ruel the canvas. needless to say i enjoyed reading this as well as experiencing it.
