With faded map, perhaps less taken
Show me the essence of what was learned
hidden are secrets of losses yearned

Tumbling in sheets; seducing negativity
A roll in the hay enhances prosperity
When sincerity starts clenching its teeth
the truth is hidden somewhere beneath

Alive with a passion that just won't persist
submissive intentions I refuse to assist
The price extolled in youth, taxes with age
Unrelenting demons desperate to engage

And when was the time when all was well?
And who is the one this heartache befell?
Somewhat delicately, this journey moves onward
Slightly hesitant, but still trudging forward...

A great job here. This is the first time I have read any of your work and I will be coming back for more after reading this. I especially liked this particular line....

When sincerity starts clenching its teeth
the truth is hidden somewhere beneath

A very perplexing line, placed perfectly in a great work. Good job!

Sweets .. that last stanza is just brilliantly crafted and
entirely moving. The hot blood that races through you
stirs up the most emotive and passionate writes, hun.

This seemed much like a process of thought, set
down in verse. You almost ask questions as if life itself is
expected to jump out and answer them!! You could be
accused of many things my friend, (the least of which is
brilliance), but stoicism will never be one!

Always a pleasure to read your exceptional writes.

The pathway to salvation is as narrow and as difficult to walk as a razor's edge."~ W.S. Maugham As it's easy to be a holy man on top of a mountain many if us "Walk the Line" as a haunted path the journey having greater value than the destination.

Bravo

As agreed with eveyone here......Yes we walk certain lines and paths which.....hmmmm..May I say is not always good, nor bad. You out did yourself, with this write. I hope which ever line you deceide. to cross....it will be straight, and go smoothly. Seems mine always, narrow and crook. LOL

Hugs
Brew~

As a Scorpio, I'm sure you have more experience w/ the former than the latter, held herein...

"Alive with a passion that just won't persist
submissive intentions I refuse to assist

Passion & Submissive, respectively.*wink*

Seriously, I enjoy the depth of your process.
