Gazing out to sea,
A lonesome figure, tall and slim,
Longing to be free,
With a heavy heart, she whispers to the water raging by,
But her desperate pleas simply seep away,
Nobody hears her cries.
Her mind is running wild, her body without a soul,
She's waiting for the one she loves,
Waiting to be whole,
Tears run freely down her face,
The waves lap at her toes,
From the world she holds a million secrets,
Of a million, all remain unknown.
A lonesome figure stands on the beach,
Gazing out to sea,
A lonesome figure tall and slim,
That lonesome figure's me. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 189 [topic] => 22 [informant] => CowgirlKid [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LostLove )

There is nothing more soothing to the soul than standing on a beach looking out to sea, when feeling sad. Lovely write.

CowgirlKid, you've painted quite a picture here!
Its so sad and lonely, but still beautiful. I guess it would be a place of healing for a broken heart. Love, Grandma Bizzy
