And still I feel disgustingly dirty
I've cried oceans of tears
And yet still I feel unworthy.
I ache for a loss
I have longed for, for years
And though I've done what I had to
There's still an unsettling fear.
The cold bed and blanket
To end past fun
Doesn't take away the pain
Of what needs to be done.
A moment in time
Lost in the 'twighlight'
Now count to ten
As you lose trace of the light.
Time has now come
Reality is here
You've lost all sense
Of what you ever held dear.
The decision was made
No doubt it was right
But I'm no longer flying
As high as a kite.
A life choice brought forward
Before it was due
There's no-one to blame
Except me and you.
I walk through the door
Making it ever so more real
Not looking back-
I don't want to feel ! ! !
There's a pain left inside me
Which only I will know
I want this memory to be over
Just let happiness flow . . . [comments] => 5 [counter] => 311 [topic] => 75 [informant] => Tamara [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => anguished )
