[bodytext] => Burned and hung and stoned to death a million lives before,
Never will I discourage my desire to heal still more.
This unexplained and frightening ability I use,
As you ignite the flames to me I simply must refuse.

If I am touched by any power it certainly can’t be wrong
If I have music of a tongue that sings with angel song.
How do you see a blackened soul as you judge me with your hate?
Check before your angered words the period and the date.

Wake up you judges, you souless fools what harm can I do here?
You seek the power that I have, and then kill me with your fear.
If I were the witch you would call me.
My power would kill the hatred I see.

I really enjoyed this. A study in which I myself have become very interested in. I believe exactlly the way this states. An unfair judgement to all who are given a gift to heal .
Very good job.

Very good owrk.
Look what they did to Jesus Christ.
I've been called a witch a few times but not the bad one.
Great work and awesomely thought provoking.
Big huggs, smiles,
emy

It is a wonderful work of reality, healers were called the witches not just in the past but even today many parts of the dark world stones or burns the so called witches (after getting them self healed.).
This poem carries a Contemporary value too.

FRANCO.

I agree that lots of healers are called witches. The witch trials of Salem are testimony to that. People are so cynical, about things they do not understand. I come from a family of mediums and spiritualists and they suffer the same indignity. Powerful poem with a truth that speaks volumes. Sue x

I think witches are wonderful people.
I am a pagan with varied beliefs in many
pagan religions. But I take the wiccan
view of the God and Godess and nature.
I think this poem is great. Of course you
know what we say. blessed be.
truly , doug

Call me, 'Witch' anyday of the week, thank you very much!

WITCH
as defined here...

" A wise woman. A transformer of energy & creator of her own reality, who recognizes no authority w/ greater esteem than self!" ~?

Not a bad lot in the way of paths, me thinks. *wink*

Blessed be the healers among us!

It is MOST unfortunate, especially (and to an even greater degree) in this day and age,
that "critical mass".. not mention, past mistakes and
"proof positive" are STILL not enough to bring these
types of phenomona full-circle..finally, to be accepted.

In my own humble opinion,
naivety and or, a primitive state of mind, are no longer acceptable excuses...
it's fear that keeps people at bay-

It always has.

Your work is exquisite.. very thought-provoking-

Truly..
