Today I’m Alice in Wonderland
I’ll dream and finally take command.
Chasing hares with clocks
Put on candy cane socks
Going through keyholes on doors
Sliding on fresh polished floors.
Having fun with life and fantasy of soul.
Like the quivering legs of a newly born foal.

Maybe try some Peter Pan
Softer than the Charlie Chan.
And visit Tinkerbell.
Removing adult shell.
Paint like Jack Frost on the Pane
Not today it’s only Rain.
Visit dragons in their cave
Teach adults how to behave.

A child with spirit fed the tales
Jack’s and Jill’s and water pails
Of every mystery
Please just let me be!
See wizards, fairies, elves.
Visiting the inner selves
Flying, Singing, Dancing with Song
Join me, come along
The freedom my soul is finally shouting
Has left my inner child seeking the outing. [comments] => 5 [counter] => 166 [topic] => 40 [informant] => needledancing [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => fantasy )

This was a very fun and refreshing poem to read. Everyone has a inner child it is just a matter if the are willing to let it come out or not. And when the do you feel so young and renewed. You only have one life to live and the inner child makes it all the more worth the wild to have.

Excellent write.Thank you for sharing this.

Loriann

A great write.
I grew up once and didn't like it so I too decided not to do it again.
Big smiles,

How true these words are every grownup love to live his childhood just one more time for the sheer fun of it.

You have projected the grownup dream in a very elegant fashion.

I always loved your style of writing.

FRANCO.
