Array ( [sid] => 132627 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => bravery [time] => 2007-03-12 20:29:22 [hometext] => finding the strength inside us when things get tough is what this poem is all about [bodytext] => there's a lot of bravery
in different people that we meet
we may see it right away
or not till it shows up one day
when a problem makes them feel
they no longer can conceal
actions that need to be taken
while their strength starts to awaken
and their courage starts to form
while fixing what is going wrong
it could be a solier who's
defending our red, white and blue
sometimes giving up his life
by standing up for what is right
or a neighbor that is needing
to save families that are screaming
from abuse thats going on
by a neighbor way to long
or the families with no home
surviving on their very own
always keeping up the faith
each morning brings a better day
there's sick children everywhere
that learned not to live in fear
they spend each day for all its worth
cherishing moments on this earth
each day a parent tries to cope
whith a childs death and hopes
they have strength to help others
teach their kids about the dangers
of chat room talk and meeting strangers
these folks can be heavens blessing
sent to show us all a lesson
about the courage thats inside
each one of us that we can find
if we're put in a situation
requiring the dedication
of reaching for the strength inside
that we camouflage and hide [comments] => 2 [counter] => 176 [topic] => 19 [informant] => poemprophet [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 3 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => InspirationalPoems )
