And say you love me still
With all the stuff you put me through
And call me the one ill-willed

You tell me I’m the only one
And then start picking fights
And then when I say that I’m done,
You lose sleep at night

You’re up and down and in and out
Make up your mind, be stable
For if you keep this up, without doubt
You’ll be a body on a table

Your flesh still warm, yet cold somehow
You brought this on yourself
You’ve jumped in and out the pool, and now
You’ve put yourself through hell

Tell me one thing, though, just why
You’d do these things and then
When asked who was the victim, lie,
And turn your back on them

My life is now less cluttered, yes
I would not lie to you
Although you say I failed that test
But everything I said was true

I never believed you, in the sense
When you said that you had changed
People don’t change from consequence
They just make more mistakes

They try to be someone they’re not
And end up even worse
But we are only tiny dots
On this big ball we call earth

After the storm come marvelous sights
With colors that shine and gleam
Until the dusk that is the night
Takes it away in a sweep

The night is even more magical
With trillions of stars in the sky
The clouds, at last, have rolled away
And the moon lets out a sigh

I’m never going to be the same,
But that’s the point of life
All the chaos, at last, has lain
Because all I can do is try.

Can relate to this. Again another well written and well expressed poem. You did a wonderful job expressing your feelings and emotions and thoughts. Great poem.

Take care
