Array ( [sid] => 13238 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => People of Character [time] => 2003-02-24 20:20:00 [hometext] => i made a distorted, twisted little doodle in english class... this is a poem i wrote to go along with the disfigured little head... i even turned it in for an assignment... ::smile:: (the actual lines are supposed to be kind of displaced, but in this forum, you'll have to use you imagination, since all poems are posted the same) [bodytext] => Distorted images fill my head
of grotesque, deformed Life
At first glance
Seemed so odd
They looked like rejects of pain
I saw grooves of sadness
in tattered egos
But,
then I listened
Sounds emerged from their disfigured heads
Talk of beautiful lands,
foreign and erotic aromas
And,
(most of all)
Love of the soul
"Character, my boy"
is what one said
"Character is what counts,
appearance~no matter."
At second glance
(seemed so odd)
They were angels of happiness
I saw grooves of content
in joyous hearts
And,
listening once more
Joined them.
