Array ( [sid] => 132361 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => The moon's emotional lunar eclipse.. [time] => 2007-03-04 10:46:31 [hometext] => Its about the lunar Eclipse that happened on the 3.3.07.......... I stayed up with from 8:20- 00:50am. [bodytext] => Aww such a beautiful sight.
I never knew the moon could shine so bright.
A process that lasted several hours.
But my god, It does have its powers.

From the start of the night, it lights up the sky,
Watching it’s movement, as it glides across the sky.
Still shining out bright, still sharing out joy,
Then it is time, for Mother Nature to toy.

Everyone joins, everyone gathers,
Just to see, the moons magic powers.
Loving the moon, with its whole face in bloom,
But now it is time for it’s slight facial doom.

Slowly disintegrating, chunks at a time,
Watching this happen, time after time.
Feeling sorry and lost, it’s now lost its spark,
It thinks it’s not pretty, because now it is dark.

Nothing has happened, I sit here and watch,
Are you growing? Please leave your mark!!!
I know you can do it; it’s not really hard,
I have faith in you, come on, and leave your mark!!!

Shine for us now; show us your light,
Be beautiful and change for the night.
Be red, crimson, orange or grey,
Just like they said, show us your ray.

Then beyond that blacked out grey we see,
Here comes the color we’ve been waiting on free.
It’s surprising what happens with a little faith you see,
Now it’s perked up with a great brightness for me.

Disappointed never are we, with your great source, that’ll trail the sea.
All over the world, and back to thee,
You’re simply amazing, how you can just be set free.

Just as a test, if it proved it was happy,
Shining out for the whole world proudly.
Warming from inside, and not the least bit rough,
Then it would be rewarded with the parts that it loves.

Now it’s back out owning the sky,
Showing who’s boss, and lighting up the skies,
Highlighting the clear blue skies brightly,
Now you have just witnessed the emotions of nightly…

I love the intent of this piece as it has a bit of sprawling murky presence like cloudy sky on moonlight night as emotions wax on their way to understanding.

Good Job

Peace
