The old radio show
"The Shadow knows"
Mystery he always solved
Didn't matter what or who was involved
Seems The Shadow always knew
"Whew" !
For those who don't know
The Shadow was a 1930'40's radio show
Back then I made people smile
I was only a child
Later on I became a teen
Thats when I knew everything
Sooo it seemed
As I grew I became more mature
Now I am old with bald gray hair
Unsure
Poetry I at times I try to write
Ideas most often out of sight
People ask me Den
Where you been ?
Oh' just setting here by you unseen
Often times I'd drop in
Trying to write something under Sinned
Seems my mind has gone numb
Ideas don't easily come
I'm hoping you will understand
She and her and you and him
I still read your poetry and call you friend
