Array ( [sid] => 132285 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Eden [time] => 2007-03-02 02:31:22 [hometext] => no real rhyme scheme, just the story as I understand it [bodytext] => There was a snake, not a serpent
A fruit, not an apple.
The garden was in the east,
But to the west of Nod
Adam was Blood, and Adam was Dirt
And there were two main trees

And God walked through the garden
And was both "He" and "They"
And both God and Adam named the animals,
Though no names we speak today

And Adam the Blood and Adam the Dirt
Knew the fruit that Eve
Gave him was the one
They were told not to eat

Adam the Blood and Adam the Dirt and his wife Eve
Ate the fruit they knew would make them die, but did not know exactly when
But they chose from their own free will, it was not the serpent's sin

They could not know the consequences
And no one ever can
But Man will not walk with God
Without being able to make Man [comments] => 2 [counter] => 205 [topic] => 11 [informant] => nos [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => ChristianPoetry )

Nicely done, one could say Eve used her girlish ways and convinced Adam to eat the forbidden fruit.
