Life begins to take its toll.

At first it’s fine,
Then it’s not so kind,
Never knowing that I’ll be so blind.

From the dawning wake,
To the sunrise set,
Problems are causing,
With every growing sec’

Fakes rooting,
Lies start sprouting,
This is the cycle of the long life shouting.

All this drama, in just one life single,
Never forgetting how I struggle through life needing.
Not knowing, not growing, nor going on fighting
Not holding, not controlling, my world just seems like it’s dyeing.

The air I breathe is not mine alone,
But the one that controls my life as well as their own.
Feeling although I’m just simply boxed in,
This shouldn’t be the quarters,
I’m forced and combined in.

I’m just gonna’ take one breath in,
And put my eyelids in action.
Relaxing my mind, and steal myself away for a sweet reaction.
I’m some place else, away from all these lies,
Now I can breath with no hesitation.

To do this one thing,
Will just simply bring,
Some time to recapture,
On the real things that mean.

Now I know I should do this one simple thing,
Breathing in, taking my time,
Letting it linger around the body that’s mine.
Having the control, the rhythm, the way I decided,
Whether it gets slower, on time or increasing with speed,
It’s up to me, how I decide. It’ll be my up-tempo needs all mine.

Having this one glimpse into my soul,
Makes me know how I can breathe now ALONE.
Something you can’t effect, well…. only sometimes when you get greedy,
But never again, am I letting you steal me.

So I’m gonna’ break this repetitive chain, from here on in,
Standing tall and strong, and spreading my wings out proud,
Feeling the wind air blow around me, and breathing out loud,
It’s so great to be able to breath again now……………………..
