Array ( [sid] => 13208 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => You kill the kids (every time they walk past you) [time] => 2003-02-24 10:40:00 [hometext] => This one is about children who suffer from hunger, and are never helped by a passing stranger. Not just in other countries, but also In America, sorry, but it's a long song, totaling:(8 min. and 6 sec.), the words just needs to be told. [bodytext] => I see a candle
being held in the streets
By a small child...

The one that looks
all alone and scared
no one to take her home...

She has no family
all alone on the streets
Freezing from the cold....

People look out
of their windows
and see this little girl...

You, kill the kids, every time they walk past you.
You, Kill the kids...
You, kill the kids, every time they walk past you.
You, Kill the kids...

No one takes
her into their home
just leave her on the curb...

No one wants
to give this girl dreams
just crush them like her soul...

All alone there
she walks the dusty streets
always on the move...

It’s getting cold
and darker every second
her past untold...

You, kill the kids, every time they walk past you.
You, Kill the kids...
You, kill the kids, every time they walk past you.
You, Kill the kids...

She surveys the grounds
looking for some food
but none is to be found....

Another night
of her not eating
another night death is near...

Hungry and cold
she stops and falls asleep
against the building wall...

Another night
another day creeping near
The sun awakens her...

You, kill the kids, every time they walk past you.
You, Kill the kids...
You, kill the kids, every time they walk past you.
You, Kill the kids...

Her dirty body
and her tear stained cheeks
are shown everyday...

She roams the streets
and everyone stares
but no one does a thing...

She moves around
looking for food.
But nothing to eat...

Her weak body
she lies in the street
and cries again...

You, kill the kids, every time they walk past you.
You, Kill the kids...
You, kill the kids, every time they walk past you.
You, Kill the kids...

No one cares
about this little girl
they let her die that way...

This is not
children from other places
that this happens too...

This is also
those little kids you see
they walk past you...

Everyday their
voices are all unheard
un-noticed by you...

You, kill the kids, every time they walk past you.
You, Kill the kids...
You, kill the kids, every time they walk past you.
You, Kill the kids...

You kill little kids
every single time
you let one walk past you....

You kill little kids
every single time
you let one walk past you.... [comments] => 1 [counter] => 156 [topic] => 34 [informant] => metalmouth666 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SongLyrics )
