The thunder rolls through with a loud pounding boom.
Accompanied by raindrops of cold dark gloom.

The wind howls through my rain drenched hair.
As the storm rolls through the cold cool air.

Animals run in panic and fear.
Knowing the storm is growing near.

Windows rattle and shutter in the breeze.
Leaves rustle and blow above in the trees.

Streams and rivers swell by raindrops that fall.
As Rolling thunder and lightning let out the call.

The storm approaches and all beware.

And like the perfect storm this is the perfect poem. A real simple and innocent beautiful
presentation. I was swept away by the experience.
