[hometext] => I wrote this poem about a guy that is or was very special to me. I found it very odd that I was so attracted to him, even though we were very very different. I get a little sad when I think that I'll probably never have a chance with him. I wrote this up really quick by the way.
[bodytext] => I don't know why I feel like this,
it brings me so much pain, to know that I can't be with you, in my thoughts you shall remain. I'd really like to see you, go out every now and then, watch some movies together, and fall asleep right at the end. If we could just talk a bit, I know I'd change my ways. But I can only think about you, hope and dream day by day. To touch your hair or soft white face, or stare into your eyes, Its something that I dream of, only that or otherwise... Im totally different from you, I must believe that lie, You're completely different from me, but isn't it worth a try? At least I can still see you, wave and smile now and then, as you lead us through praise and worship, our voices rising high again. As we all sing together, your voice is set apart. So natural and resounding, it truly warms the heart. I can watch you play your guitar, and sing so beautifully with your band. I almost wish you knew this secret, to have it sitting in your hand. If not together, friends we'll be, to walk, and talk, and share. Another friend is great to have, especially one that cares. If I was that Chili's girl, I would have called you back, she doesn't know what she's missing, intelligence she lacks. I felt I was drawn to you, that I was guided by the Lord. I was so touched by everything, by your kindness and your words. I see the wall that you have built, to keep your heart from harm. Maybe the past is painful, emotions cause alarm. You'll never know my feelings, for I can never tell, this secret I must keep from you, but maybe one day I will. I really think I'm such a fool, for feeling the way I do to think I actually had a chance with someone as pure as you. I'll throw away my feelings, cast everything aside, I know it will come back though, right when you pass me by. My life is in God's hands now, as I am sure is yours. God willing we'll be together, with God's speed forever more.
