Array ( [sid] => 131795 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => No More An Alien. [time] => 2007-02-16 06:43:47 [hometext] => It is my 51St poem; I offer this to all my YPDC. Poet friends who took me in and offered their hearts to dwell. THANK YOU FRIENDS, MY LOVE & KISSES TO EACH ONE OF YOU. [bodytext] =>
A Year rolled by in a blinking moment
it seems yesterday my depressed soul yearned
for a grief free goal - after my love’s departed
soul snuffed along my bliss filled world.
My sinking life boat in midst
of the salty tear filled sea, saw
a link of hope beyond the
techno horizon.

A strange web* fished me out
like a knight in shining armor.
Reviled to me an peerless world;
though strangers from deferent
domain and creed, I felt oneness, as
They spoke the tongue of my own soul.

A pal in Lisbon, Bro’s from
LA ‘nd NY, a gal from Caribbean shores
the galloping cow boy from Mexico
were no more alien to me
or hearts across the mighty oceans,
nor countries and states I seldom heard.
Imparting grief and happiness,
joy and pain, love and hate like a family
that I once had.

My delighted heart leap’s and sign’s the song
of bliss for my new found family; just all this
I have.
(YPDC*).
