Save a small space in your heart for me
I don’t require much room or sympathy
I would love you until the death of me
Until all that is left fades into a memory

I substitute my reality….

Think of me once in a blue moon
In the whispered song of a soft tune
In the bristling winds
The weeping typhoon
In the eerie silence
Scattered among the flowers in bloom
Pellets of perfume
I am a caterpillar
Beseeching entry into your cocoon
Into your womb
Not a moment too soon

Save your skin for my touch
Save your smiles for my eyes
Your words for my ears
Save your tears
Save your lies

Place your hands in mine

Trust me
We will be just fine

Or not

Good poem whether love is coming or going.
Strange title...but then maybe that's it.

Wow, I got that 'heart in the throat' type feeling reading this.. I got swept up in the words big time! Moving and heartfelt. One of your best as far as I'm concerned, but I'm biased maybe. Haha. Great job. The title would've been better suited as the author's note though, but since you don't do those; I suppose it works!

seems you worked too hard.. if even beyond the work, to leave it all to chance.. (regarding your final two words)

set your mind and go!

very nice..
