That comes for you numberless times
My heart spellbound has the necklace of songs
You take as gift wear it in your neck in many forms

In life after life, age after age that`s forever
You become the image of what I ever remember
I hear the old chronicles of love that`s tender
They were ancient tales of being apart or together

As I stare on and on into the past, until you appear
Clad in the pole star`s light you pierce the sinister
Again you become the image of what I ever remember
At the heart of time, our love of one for another

Yourself and me, have floated on the streams here
We have played along side millions of other lovers
These streams are brought from the cascade
Even if they dry up, but our love will never fade

We share in the same shy sweetness of meeting
Our old love but in shapes that keep renewing
In life after life, age after age that`s forever
And on this Valentine`s day also, let it shower

This was exquisite. A love to last ..

forevermore ~

simply beautiful. I especially love how you've captured,
past, present and future emotion and passion
within the words. The last stanza is breathtaking ..

A truely wonderful peice that speaks so greatly of your love and uses rhyme in such a great way

I especially like this line

"We share in the same shy sweetness of meeting
Our old love but in shapes that keep renewing"

A elegant piece of writing

keep writing
keep smiling
keep loving

Sweetstranger
