A dog howled in a distant alley
Under the ghoulish light of the moon
An owl gave a warning hoot
The undead will be hunting soon

The aroma of blood is swelling
As a vampire opens its eyes
Tasting its way to its prey
Thinking only of fresh blood-pies

A graveyard drowning in the mist
Dwelling a horde of the dead
Wakes up into the nightly silence
Following fear’s smell as they are led

A group of shrieking bats escapes
To hide under the skin of darkness
A man transforms in to a wolf
Asking the moon for a moment of Un-bless

A child shivers awake on its bed
Waiting for the Boogeyman to come
Hiding behind the closet door
Waiting for night to begin the fun

The man wakes up in the morning
To run away from his fright
However, his fear comes in from behind
Following him into the night
